Larry graduated from Kent State
University in 1972. Although he was originally a pre law student, a ride in a
Navy training aircraft precipitated an academic change to Aerospace Technology followed by a seven-year tour of duty flying
fighter attack aircraft in the Marines.
Following the Marine Corps,
Larry went to work for Applied Technologies Associates and in a few years became director of Marketing at Incosym Inc. Larry’s Aerospace specialty was inertial guidance and control of aircraft, missiles,
and spacecraft.
In 1987, the Aviation bug
again bit Larry and he left Aerospace to build a flight school and aircraft dealership business at the Camarillo Airport. Larry’s involvement with the re-start up of the Taylorcraft Aircraft Manufacturing
company evolved into a Industrial consulting business. Larry specialized in custom designed Automated Machinery and
industrial laser cutting operations.
Larry’s original calling
remained to the Law. He attended the Ventura College of Law at night and realized
his life long dream of being an Attorney.
Larry's hobbies include golf,
flying, sailing (Larry lived on a 50 ft sailing Ketch for eight years and now races a Ranger 33) scuba diving, skiing (Alpine
and Nordic) and driving his 1972 Alfa Romero Spider.
